Welcome to our Christmas Holiday display web site.  We call our

display "A Chadwick Bay Christmas". It is located at 131 Willowbrook Ave., Dunkirk, New York. Before Dunkirk  was incorporated as a city it was known as Chadwick Bay.

This display is owned by and designed by Tim Peterson.  With a bit of help from Bob Peterson. This is an animated light and music display.  It is run by 128 channels of Light-O-Rama controllers.

We have been working on this display--designing, sequenceing music, building the "props", putting up lights etc. since July.  When completed, it will have over 12,000 LED lights and 5,500 feet of extension cords.  We get our lights from Creative Displays in  Kansas.  For the 2010 season we will be using about 175 channels of animation and about 25,000 LED lights.

06/13/10.  We've been working on the new lights for a couple of weeks now.  They must be "braided" together to be put up on the flag pole to create the large tree.  First I twist the blue and whites together and then the green and reds together.  Then twist the two pairs of lights together.  I will use about 3,000 twist ties to put these together.

03/22/10.  Well---it took this long to finally get the stuff off of the roof and the lights off of the flag pole.  It's always a bit sad when the season is done and then a tad sad again when everything is taken down.  Great plans for the upcoming season though--can't wait to get started!

02/18/10.  Huge order for over 13,000 more LED's has been made.  Supposed to be here by June.  I'll need that much time to get them ready for the 2010 display.

As always--there is a slight possibility that the show can not be activated because of rain.  I hate to wish bad weather on us but we can cope with cold and snow better than with rain.

Hope you all enjoy this years displays.
