Welcome to our Christmas Holiday display web site.  We call our

display "A Chadwick Bay Christmas". It is located at 131 Willowbrook Ave., Dunkirk, New York. Before Dunkirk  was incorporated as a city it was known as Chadwick Bay. 

This display is owned by and designed by Tim Peterson.  With a bit of help from Bob Peterson. This is an animated light and music display.  It is run by 128 channels of Light-O-Rama controllers.

We have been working on this display--designing, sequenceing music, building the "props", putting up lights etc. since July.  When completed, it will have over 12,000 LED lights and 5,500 feet of extension cords.

01/09/09.  Well--The season is over for another year. 

02/25/09.  Can you believe we haven't gotten all of the lights taken down yet?  This global warming thing is playing havoc with our ability to get our lives back to normal--whatever that is.  Maybe there's some sort of financial reward coming our way from the stimulous package to aliveiate our distress.

Anyhow--We're planning for bigger and better things for the display for the coming Christmas season.  We've already ordered colored strobe lights to use in the display--should add a neat touch.  I picked up over 150 sets of LED's at Wal-Mart the day after Christmas.  Good thing there is nobody living across the street from Tim.  Local people will see a lot of activity at Tim's house during the summer months which will indicate where we will be going with the display this year.

So stay tuned and we will update this site as things progress.  And yes--we will try to get up a light/music display for the 4th of July.
